High School Teen Hangout

The FORTitude Teen Hangouts are a safe place for teens to connect, and share stories and encouragement. It's a place where teens can find that they are not alone. This program is for high school teens who are interested and want support and want to support each other.

Sessions will be held on Tuesdays, 5/7 - 5/28 at 7:30 PM 

This is a 4-week program and each session is 60 minutes.  The group is facilitated by a qualified mental health professional.  All personal information is confidential and only used by the group facilitator to ensure group discussions are relevant to participants.

You will receive a call to confirm your teen's registration, explain the group's agreements and give you the meeting address.  If your schedule changes and your teen are unavailable to attend, please email valwalters@ryanbartelfoundation. Space is very limited for this program and we want to ensure that everyone who wants to attend can.


Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to check-in.

This support group is for high school teens ages 14-18


No teen will be turned away for financial reasons. Please contact Jennifer Montes (jennifermontes@ryanbartelfoundation.org) if financial assistance is needed.

Limited Space:
There is limited availability due to the nature of the workshops and space so please be sure your teen plans to attend all six workshops in the series.

Participation and Benefits:
The workshops are highly interactive and require participation and consideration of others.

Confidentiality and Limitations:
Your child’s privacy is important to us. We remind all participants that personal stories shared should remain with the group but there is always a potential risk that confidentiality could be compromised.

Safety Protocols:
If mental health concerns arise, the Ryan Bartel Foundation Staff will contact a parent or guardian. At least two adults will facilitate the workshops.
