Parent Session with Dr. Lacey Rosenbaum, Program Director at the Ryan Bartel Foundation

Join us for a meaningful and practical parent session designed to complement your teen’s experience in the FORT program. While your teen engages in connection-building, creativity, and mental wellness activities, you’ll have dedicated time to step back, reflect, and gain tools to support them more effectively.

In this engaging presentation, Dr. Lacey Rosenbaum will explore what today’s teens are experiencing beneath the surface, including the growing challenges of loneliness and disconnection. She will share clear, research-informed strategies to help parents become a steady bridge from loneliness to belonging by fostering emotional safety, strengthening connection, and supporting resilience at home. This session is designed to be both validating and actionable. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of your teen and simple ways to show up in moments that matter most.

Following the event, all participating parents will receive access to a new Ryan Bartel Foundation report on Loneliness and Belonging, offering additional insights, data, and practical tools to continue the learning at home.

Schedule:
1:00–1:15 PM – Arrival and light snacks
1:15–2:00 PM – Presentation: From Loneliness to Belonging
2:00-2:15 PM – Optional networking with other parents

Take this time for yourself while your teen participates in FORT, connect with other parents, and leave feeling more confident in how to support your child’s mental wellness.

Teen pick-up from the FORT is at 4:00 PM.
